MaXhosa Africa is doing well in the fashion world internationally. They showcased at London Fashion Week. Despite this success, they focus on celebrating South African heritage. They revealed their Autumn/ Winter 24 collection at the MXS Kulture Festival, called “My Conviction”, to showcase African art with modern styles suited for fashion lovers.
However, despite its widespread recognition, Maxhosa Africa stays dedicated to honouring South African culture, beginning with debuting its complete collection in Africa.
Last month at the MXS Kulture Festival, Maxhosa Africa presented its newest Autumn/ Winter 24 collection named “My Conviction”. This collection aims to highlight African creativity with contemporary designs suitable for today’s youth.
The collection was showcased during Paris Fashion Week in early March, marking the brand’s first appearance in the French capital. Maxhosa, the sole African brand on the official schedule of Paris Fashion Week, introduced a wider range of colours and more accessories in its latest collection before opening a store in New York.
The AW24 Collection marks the brand’s debut into accessories, with a range from bags to hats. While maintaining signature styles like pleated skirts and beadwork, “My Conviction” introduces bold silhouettes and new design elements.
MaXhosa Africa showcased a deep dedication to their homeland, evident in the festival where guests wore MaXhosa Africa garments, highlighting its role as a representation of South African culture.
