Tony Shabangu aka Fudge Dafugitive who is also known as Tony Dangler has been crowned as the best hip hop emcee in South Africa. The 24 year old Kwa-Zulu Natal born and Johannesburg-based rapper battled it out and won against seven other rappers who were semi-finalists of the 2013 sprite uncontainable hip hop festival.
The finals took place at Zone 6 venue in Diepkloof Soweto this past Sunday on the 25th of August. Fuge is a member of the super rap group Revivolution. He has been rapping for about two decades and has performed on a number of big stages including Back To The City 2013.
Tony and his crew have opened for famed US-based rap artists Copywrite and Qwel.
