Last week Friday Melo B Jones finally dropped her latest single called ‘Self Love’, a song that is said to be a personal love letter penned by songstress, against the soulful, vibrant live-esque instrumentation and production by Agnal Olecis, Bilal Da DJ and Solethu Madasa… In the song, she documents the journey of striving for tenderness and self-appreciation – to be kinder to one’s self.
This collaborative nature of the song’s origin is the love-child of the synergy between the artists and the message. Released during Women’s Month, the hope is for the song to be a soulful anthem for women everywhere.
