It’s been seven fun-filled crazy years since Metallica traveled to South Africa for what was their first ever visit here. Needless to say, it’s been way too long since then and they are more than thrilled to be heading back for two shows in April of 2013. Look out for them in Cape Town at the Cape Town Stadium on April 24 and in Johannesburg on April 27 at FNB Stadium (aka Soccer City). Tickets go on sale for the Johannesburg show on Wednesday, November 21 at 9:00 am local time and for the Cape Town show on Thursday, November 22, also at 9:00 am local time. Both shows will be on sale at web, outlets and call centers. Metallica is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California, whose releases include fast tempos, instrumentals, and aggressive musicianship that placed them as one of the founding “big four” of thrash metal.
