For a while now Mi Casa has been teasing some new music and it sounds like they will be experimenting with some new sounds in their upcoming album We Made It. As part of their 10-year celebration as Mi Casa, they have released their first single “Church Bells”. J’Something expressed his excitement on an Instagram post for the new music that we are going to be receiving on the 15 May.

“To be honest, I have never been this excited to release new music. Not only because we’re celebrating our 10yrs together as a band but, this music has so much depth! Right now where we are in the world, it’s tough, uncomfortable and quite scary and we’ve been blessed with the gift of music to share with the world. That’s humbling. So everything feels new again, the sound, our look… our passion. So to our fans… our family, new & old – this is for you!”

A couple of weeks ago Dr. Duda went live from his studio on Instagram while jamming on some Amapiano jams from the likes of Vigro Deep, Kabza De Small, and DJ Maphorisa, as well as the trio Semi Tee, Kammu Dee and Miano. We wonder if he was planning on deconstructing the new sound to incorporate it into his music.

It turns out, that is exactly what he was doing and the fruits of the session is “Church Bells”. A Mi Casa interpretation of Amapiano is was the doctor recommended during these trying times. We are impressed with what the guys have come up with and we cant wait to hear the full project when it drops on the 15th of May 2020.

We made it is available for pre-order here.
