So the muthaland entertainment company which is formerly known as ghetto ruff has teamed up with bula records and has brought us an interesting young sweet looking singer who goes by the name of Moneoa, this past Tuesday she had a media listening session at the muthaland studios in Parkview.
You might have heard one of her two singles which are currently having some air play across the country’s national radio stations namely “pretty disaster” and “isbhanxa” respectively.
The media session was attended by various media personalities and even though she only performed four songs and there was a minor sound technicality problem for a few minutes, everything went quite well. Moneoa is a Durban born singer and songwriter and her voice is paradoxically chilling, yet soothing and her music is an interesting blend of afro pop/neo-soul. Her debut album is titled “Coming from Going to”.
