South African rapper Morale recently worked with Kelly Khumalo on a hip hop jam called “No More”, Morale sampled Pat Metheny’s “Slip Away” who was also sampled by Nick Holderon “Summer Daze”. The beat is produced by Sean Pages and additional instrumentation was added by Pricha of Hallo Productions. Morale blazes through the raps describing where he comes from and the ordeals he went through after his motorbike accident last year. The biographical raps and Kelly Khumalo’s soulful voice prove to be a goose bump filled song. Both artists complement each other and make a beautiful song with a positive message.
This song is about ambition, tribulations and hope. Morale describes his life from humble beginnings to winning a Metro award to surviving a near death experience. “No More” says something different, standing out from other rap songs that monotonously chant about booze, money and sex.

“No More” Morale ft Kelly Khumalo
(Morale)
Was an atheist back, to believing in God/ back to defeating da odds,
reaching da top.
Me and my fam lived in a box, hopless me and my sis holes in our socks.
Moms was packing and leaving a lot/ Pops was cheating couldn’t keep it on
lock.
Stealing and dealing got food in da pot/ daddy & mommy loosing their jobs
Loosing their house, they moving us out, in foster care I’m loosing my
bounce
Teary eyes deep in the south / Moving about with no food in the mouth.
(Kelly Khumalo)
Chorus: No more, no more, no more struggles no pain
The sun is gonna shine and joy will follow.
I couldn’t understand God’s plan, when it came to the struggles of a black
man.
We feel it in his back hand/ and drink away da pain, I saw it in my old man.
Lost in a bottle dancing to old jams/ Dancing to old dreams dancing to old
plans.
Lost in a musical romance/ dancing away all the bullsh*t and nonsense..
I was 16 sipping rum 18 packing gun. 20ies Full of cum, 30ies back to 21,
My intro I won a metro, my dad’s mojo birthed a rap flow – that’s inferno
Otherwise known as Momo / to bless ya’ll wit something monumental.
Chorus: No more, no more, no more struggles no pain
The sun is gonna shine and joy will follow.
I went out like Primo, crashed like Tido, I rose like hero fly like eagle.
My whole life sequel die hard like Biko, all about da dough like Tito
I broke my legs and ego; died on a bike saw my life through a keyhole.
My life wasn’t ready 4 da repo/ God gave me key to the hearts of the people
Don’t cry mama I’m legendary/ what I went through is heavenly necessary.
Voluntary no missionary, from broken home your son is a visionary.
Back like Don Makavelli, I’m evolutionary back like I never left baby
X2
Chorus: No more, no more, no more struggles no pain
The sun is gonna shine and joy will follow.
