DJ Zinhle is getting ready to release a moving video for her chart topping single Indlovu featuring Loyiso
Building further on the inspirational message behind the current hit song, Multi Award-winning musician DJ Zinhle and singer Loyiso have shot a short film for their explosively encouraging song – bringing to life the meaning of Indlovu.
The DJ powerhouse has partnered with NS Impact Foundation to co-executive produce the short film, which is set to premier on Thursday, 25 March 2021. The collaboration between the two sets out to use current struggles to remind the youth and the young at heart of their ability to overcome, pushing a powerful message of perseverance on the music visual.
Nosipho Fakude CEO of NS Impact Foundation shared the following says that the collaboration with DJ Zinhle was a match made in heaven. “As NS Impact Foundation we are working on a few projects that aim to empower, inspire and encourage each aspect of our community. We wanted to appreciate the same beliefs of hope that we hold at NS Impact Foundation which are found in the song – this is what led to the collaboration of this visual story of Indlovu with DJ Zinhle and Loyiso,” he says.
The short film tells a story of youth and the struggle faced by South Africans who are unemployed graduates
Ringing Nosipho’s thoughts, DJ Zinhle had this to say on the partnership for the short film, “Over the years I have built a great relationship with NS Impact Foundation and this extends to their projects. One of the foundation’s ambitions is to spread a continuous message of hope and encouragement that restores pride – which is what Indlovu is all about.” She went on to add, “I’m so happy that we were able to share the same view and come together to create this impactful music video. We are in the final stages of edit and I can’t wait for everyone to see our collaboration and be motivated to keep pushing forward.”
Matching the lyrical depth of the track together with the synth soundscape associated with DJ Zinhle, the synopsis of the short film tells a story of youth and the struggle faced by South Africans who are unemployed graduates that, through ongoing inspiration, end up creating their own opportunities.
the shortfilm will be released on the 25th of March across all digital platforms.
