Wizkid will be joining DBN Gogo, Lamiez Holworthy, Focalistic and Mr Jazziq at the 2021 Friends Of Amstel festival
2021 Grammy nominated music artist, Wizkid is set to perform in South Africa this December. He is the headlining act for 2021 Friends Of Amstel festival. The Essence hit-maker made his debut earlier this year at the virtual concert. On the 4th of December he will be performing for the second live installment of the event since its launch in 2019.
Wizkid is known for his artistry in effortlessly combining Afrobeat sounds with Hip Hop, R&B and Dancehall. The Nigerian-born star has collaborated with the likes of Beyoncé, Drake, H.E.R, Chris Brown, Burna Boy, Damian Marley and Bucie. His latest work, Made in Lagos, broke several African streaming records.

Local artists such as DBN Gogo, Lamiez Holworthy, Lulo Café, Focalistic and LeSoul are on the lin-up. Amstel will also be introducing new friends to the festival such as Oscar Mbo, JazziQ, Kamo Mphela, Stokie, Big Zulu, DJ Venom, DJ Banques and Sjava. All artists will be paired into unique collaborations to give memorable and unique sound experiences the way only Amstel can curate.
