Major League DJz will take the unique sounds of Amapiano to this year’s Coachella Festival as part of the Do Lab stage
Hit maker duo, Major League DJz are literally taking Amapino to the world in such an impressive way. They have announced that they will playing Coachella, the popular annual Music and Arts Festival held in California. To top it all off, they will be playing sets at festival on both the weekend of the 15th and the 22nd of April.

Taking to social media, the Bakwa Lah hit makers announced the exciting news, writing that this is a dream come true.
“It’s OFFICIAL your boys have been added to @Coachella line up 😫❤️. Dreams really do come true 🙏🏾. We will be playing on two stages during both weekends. GOD has really been showing off on this journey. See you guys at Coachella baby”.

This announcement comes two years after the release of their monumental and seemingly prophetic album, Pianochella. Pianochella, which is a play off the popular festival, Coachella and the infusion of Amapiano sounds, represents their journey into exploring different genres, as they travelled across South Africa to attain the right ingredients for the album’s soundscape.

The Do Lab is the electronic and dance music festival within the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. It will take place has announced the lineup for the April 15-17 and 22-24 weekends at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.

The Do Lab has been part of Coachella for more than 15 years years and is known for its colourful stage, pumping electronic beats, crowds of people dancing and its onstage water cannons.
Earlier this month, the twins announced their unique global deal with Atlantic records, effectively making them the first Amapiano act to pull off such a feat. This move was the first of many paramount moves that they will do this year.
