Moonchild Sanelly is featured on British band, Gorillaz’s upcoming album, Song Machine Season One: Strange Timez

Straight from recently killing it on Beyonce’s Black Is King film, it was announced on Tuesday evening that Moonchild Sanelly will feature on the new Gorillaz album. On Tuesday evening, British virtual band, Gorrilaz released a tracklist of their highly anticipated album, Song Machine Season One: Strange Timez.

Song Machine Season One: Strange Timez a 17-song instalment featuring guest performances from Beck, Elton John, Goldlink, The Cure’s Robert Smith, Fatoumata Diawara, St. Vincent, rappers ScHoolboy Q and 6black to name a few. Moonchild Sanelly will feature on the deluxe album on a song titled With Love To An Ex.

Moonchild Sanelly has always appealed to an international audience and this is mainly due to her eccentric and refreshing take on dance and electro music. Recently signing a ground breaking deal wth U.K label Transgressive Records.

Even before this, her entire career has seen her aligne herself with trailblazers who compliment her daring and unorthodox style. She has performed at festivals like SXSW in Houston, Texas and Primavera Sound in Barcelona and even toured internationally with fellow agents of controversy, Die Antwoord.
