Taking to Instagram, Bragga expressed excitement for the new business venture, describing it as “the next chapter of my life”. “I’m so excited about the next chapter of my life! Here’s to officially starting my own record label BRAGGA RECORDS,” she exclaimed.
She also lauded Cassper Nyovest for being a standout mentor. She also gave props to Family Tree Records for giving her the platform. “I wouldn’t be able to do this without @casspernyovest and @familytreeworld THANK YOU for all that you invested in me over the years! A Mentor is someone who sees more talent and ability within you than you see in yourself and helps bring it out of you. Thank you.”
In an interview she did with Slikouronlife earlier this year, she admits that the relationship between her and Nyovest was affected by her decision to leave the label.
“I am not with ’ The Tree’ anymore. I am working on my own record label. It was very tricky because when I had the conversation with Cassper, I was so scared to talk to him. I could feel he was sad, and I think he hung up on me, to be honest, but later messaged me,” she says. Adding that she will always hold Nyovest in the highest regard.
Along with the announcement of the new record label, she announced that there is new music on the way. Are we looking forward to it?
