The most influential chewing gum brand Stimorol, announced the launch of “Stimorol FlowLab” aimed at elevating Gen Z’s music careers.
The “Stimorol FlowLab” initiative is a consumer-facing platform that is set to bridge the gap between music lovers and makers alike. If you’re an aspiring musician then this initiative was designed for you. The music industry is a quite a tough one to break into especially without the help of the right people. The ultimate goal for Stimorol FlowLab is to “provide access by opening doors”.
The campaign hosts regional workshops in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town that will allow these aspiring musicians to connect with their Gen Z peers and sharpen their skills. With assistance from platinum selling artist Aubrey Qwana and the Tsonga Michael Jackson as he likes to refer to himself Musa Keys. The aim is to build “communities and create opportunities by connecting aspiring musicians to the broader music community”. For those passionate about music, Stimorol FlowLab will empower them “to unlock exclusive content and instant prizes by uploading proof of purchase (the more you buy, the more you get)”.
Musa Keys shared his great enthusiasm of being a part of this empowering initiative. “I’m happy to be part of a movement to support the youth grow their music careers. Being able to impart the knowledge I have and share it with young and talented artists is something I’m passionate about. We grow by helping the next star”, he said.
Stimorol’s brand manager, Khanyisa Ntshuntshe said “Stimorol is about inspiring fresh perspectives and empowering individuals. With our belief that the world is a better place when everyone lives and does things in their own individual and unique way, what better way to live up to this mantra than for us to create a platform that truly peels away the barrier of gate-keepers and gives everyone an equal opportunity to shine”. Furthermore, instead of utilising inventory and library music for its brand assets Stimorol is committed to funding and prioritsing the use of visual and audio outputs from the aspiring musicians that are participating in the campaign.
Major Steez and Dee Koala are amongst the people in the music industry that will share their knowledge and experience with participants. They are fitting for this initiative because who better to get in the minds of Gen Z than Gen Z itself. Stimorol FlowLab studio sessions will open doors for collaborations between participants and local music makers that sign up through the micro site where the campaign will be housed. Stimorol will organize live events to be attended by Music Lovers and allow Music Makers to showcase their talent. The studio sessions with the rising stars have began, follow Stimorol on their social media platforms catch the introduction of the participants.
