Nasty C is part of YouTube’s 2024 FIFTY DEEP Music Class. YouTube started the FIFTY DEEP campaign to honour the people who have shaped Hip Hop over the last 50 years. They’re showing 2,000 videos on different YouTube Music playlists and adding special features on Google platforms.
South African Hip Hop has made a big impact on the Hip Hop culture in the genre’s 50 years. Artists like Nasty C work hard to represent South Africa well. The rapper is recognized as one of the important black artists who have kept hip-hop strong for the past 50 years.
On Instagram, Nasty thanked YouTube for acknowledging his work and the impact he’s had on Hip Hop culture.
