“Ubuyanini is a plea and a pledge in a sense that it’s a plea because you’re crying out and begging your loved one to come back home”. Thabsie calls is a “pledge of love” because you realize that your loved one hasn’t been around yet you are pledging your love to them.
Thabsie portrays her honesty through music which makes it easily relatable to her fans. “I’m all about my music being relatable and people really feeling what I’m feeling in that moment in time, I write from the heart” says Thabsie.
