Amidst the drama and losing the intense court battle with her former record label, Ambitiouz Entertainment, Fifi Cooper is back with some new visuals. This one is titled Take Me Back and it sees Fifi in a futuristic Johannesburg, surrounded by advanced technological inventions.
This may have been a prophetic song because in it Fifi Cooper reminisces about the old days and wanting to go back. She raps about how she had “nice life problems” but didn’t treasure them. She can only look back and appreciate them now but she can never go back.
The video is set in future Johannesburg and she takes us on a journey to her past. The set-up is quite dope and futuristic and it is reminiscent of Cassper’s Destiny video. In Take Me Back, we see her wake up and just like routine, she checks out videos of her past life when she was with her family and just carefree.
Everything about this video is fresh and we see Fifi dressed in white and surrounded by advanced technological inventions; from smart mirrors to futuristic furniture. The video was co-directed by the OMFilms Visual Duo Nelisiwe and Ofentse Mwase who did a splendid job on it. Peace to the hard work that went into this.
