Afro Pop and Dancehall sensation, Mikky Jaggaz, reveals visuals for Do Me
MJ Records foreman, Mikky Jaggaz, took a detour in his musical journey to come up with fresh tune Do Me. With his unique brand of Afro beats, Mikky Jaggaz made Do Me specifically for the ladies.
He dropped Do Me 4 months ago and revealed that it was one of the first singles from his EP, the second being Make Me Kolo. The song is about a special lady who pushes his buttons the right way.
Do Me was shot in Lagos Nigeria by sought-after cinematographer, Adasa Cookey who has shot for artists such as Mavins, Davido and more. Mikky Jaggaz craved the touch of ‘familiar’ for his new project. He headed home to create the visuals for his single Do Me. The visuals are inspired and are reflective of the pace of the song thus creating an easy and laid back atmosphere.
Telling his version of a melanin love story, the video balances the Lagos nightlife with the calming scenes of nature and some sultry ones too, just for control. The visuals created for this groovy single were ultimately colourful and easy on the eye.
It was important for Mikky Jaggaz to showcase the possibilities regarding locations for visual content. He makes a conscious decision to do the opposite of the norm,; leaving Joburg to Lagos to shoot this video.
Mikky Jaggaz’s latest project Make Me Kolo was produced by C-Tea and not too far away is the official video to Champion Lover Remix featuring Ice Prince and Gemini Major.
