Darkie Fiction drop leading single from upcoming EP, Endaweni

In light of their upcoming EP, Darkie Fiction have released the lead single from the project titled Endaweni. Endaweni is not only the leading single from the EP but it is also the title track for the project. The laid back song sounds like an earnest proclamation to the Almighty for having carried them and saw them through hard times. They do this without sounding too preachy.

The duo shed their heavy Kwaito elements in this one and offer something a little subtler and soulful with Afro-funk elements. The production is lush and buoyant making the larger than life message land just about right.

Stiff Pap celebrate Siyabonga Nomvete in Nomvete Freestyle

Umlazi duo, Stiff Pap honour legendary soccer player Siyabonga Nomvete in their latest song, Nomvete Freestyle. The heavy influenced Trap song with the ominous bass line and restless hi hats incorpates obvious Kwaito and Electronic elements- providing a healthy level of fresh air. It sounds like what a fun night out.

They rap about their swag, their obvious appeal and talent but also their playful determination, similar to what made Siyabonga Nomvete a legend in his field. Although it is a short song, Nomvete Freestyle makes an impact- now we’re looking forward to see what the gents have in store.
