ByLwansta takes you out on a date with his new single, ASMR featuring Alisha Rosa, Some.Unique.Individual and Rams
Inspired by the ASMR phenomenon and its often inescapable sexual undertone, ByLwansta introduces ASMR – a sensual and sexually charged R&B influenced hip hop song. ASMR features rising stars Alisha Rosa and Some.Unique.Individual as well as powerhouse musician Rams.

Coming in at just over 4 minutes, ASMR is quite an experience. The R&B-influenced composition and production set a sensual mood. This is led by a pulsing synth bass, layered over an 808 and a soft synth pad. ASMR is not trying to live in a sound, but instead it creates a compelling and engaging environment for the listener.
Alisha Rosa’s voice conveys a sense of tranquillity. Every sound and lyric is gently enunciated, maximizing the tingles. Her volume is low-key and her tone stays level with her voice and disposition eliciting calmness and comfort. This is complimented by ByLwansta’s easy going and flawless delivery. This guy sounds like he was embedded in the beat, he casually emerges behind the seemingly ordinary beat with a bewitching charisma, flow and vivid storytelling.

The same can be said for S.U.I’s soothing interpretation of R&B. It extends further than the present and seductively creeps into the pockets traditional R&B. His tone reminiscent of early Tyrese Gibson. Rams on the other hand dips into his futuristic arsenal and coats ASMR with a psychedelic effect.
ByLwansta’s choice of collaborators only make sense as each artist slides melodically as they each express their sensual sides over soft synth pads and a pulsing bassline.
“I took the often uncomfortable intimacy of ASMR and turned it into an opportunity to express my sensual side, verbalising my inner thoughts,” ByLwansta explains.
ASMR will appear on the final installment of ByLwansta’s SPIJØNGET Series, in Chapter Three.
