MacG in hot water after making disrespectful and distatestful comments about the LGBTQI+ community on Podcast and Chill
Popular podcaster and former radio personality, MacG has been dropped by sponsors, Old Mutual following distasteful comments regarding Transgender women. The comments were made on his uncensored and sometimes controversial platform, Podcast and Chill.
In a segment of the podcast, MacG, radio personality, Sol Phenduka and the Ghost Lady were chatting about the confusion surrounding the LGBTQI+ community. This is after they discussed the reveal that Siv Ngesi made when he introduced his drag alter ego, Sivanna. This discussion opened a can of worms as each host offended the LGBTQI+ community by misgendering Caitlyn Jenner, calling a Trans woman a “she-male” and belittling men who have been associated to Transwomen in the past.

Old Mutual released a statement earlier today to rebuke MacG in reference to the podcast.
“Old Mutual has seen the discussion that took place on MacG’s podcast. As a responsible business that fully respects the rights of everyone, we have decided to terminate the relationship with MacG with immediate effect. We distance ourselves from the harmful commentary against the LGBTQI community and humanity at large,” part of a statement read.

So SAns don’t understand raw, unfiltered content. Cause that’s not what Mac is doing. That is very homophobic and transphobic AND ignorant content. No one wants to “bring MacG down”.

While others on the other hand pointed out that MacG places a disclaimer at the beginning of the show as being uncesored and raw.
Concerning this MacG issue.
People nowadays are too sensitive. They forget that there are jokes and some jokes are just too dark. It’s not being homophobic or racist or whatever but sometimes it’s just dark humor.
Being included in the society also means jokes will be made.

I’m all for LGBTQand all the letters that comes after but come on!! It’s really getting annoying now that everything should be a thing even if it’s not.
