You know how much we love our ladies and since it is women’s month, we will show our love for them nge full force! Why not right? So today’s woman crush is none other than Ntombi Ngcobo Mzolo. She is a singer, television presenter and actress who is best known for being part of the Maskandi group Amaponi. You get her now neh? The group was formed way back in 1998 and consists of her and her three siblings Nkosinathi, Jabu and Vuyiswe.
Ntombi’s claim to fame is not only her music, she was a host on the SABC 1 music show One. She has also hosted educational shows such as Backyard Science and Science 4 Life. She has also hosted Come Again? as well as eKasi+ music programme Gumba Gumba which was also broadcast on etv. She has acted in quite a number of productions including the David Kau comedy film Taxi Ride and a short telefilms called Baby Come Duze which aired on Mzansi Magic.
Ntombi is the daughter of legendary musician Bheki Ngcobo, aka Ihhashi Elimhlophe, and Linah “Ebony” Khama. She married filmmaker Sizwe Mzolo on 22 August, 2009. She currently hosts Whose Show Is It Anyway on Metro Fm alongside Somizi Mhlongo and Khanyi Mbau.
