South Africa’s We Are One Colour Festival is proud to announce the full lineup for the upcoming Festivals in Cape Town and Johannesburg this March. Having already announced Felix Da Housecat (U.S.A) as the international headliner for both cities, Seed Experiences has bolstered the lineup with South Africa’s most cutting-edge and talented DJs.
Taking place on Human Right’s Day in South Africa on Friday 21 March at Cape Town’s Grand Parade, the WE ARE ONE Colour Festival will illuminate the city with brightly coloured powder to the lively beats of a top DJ lineup. Kanan K7(BRA), The Skenes, Dean FUEL, James Copeland, Tommy Gun, Plagiarhythm, Floyd Lavine, Mike Play and last but definitely not least, the house legend himself, Felix Da Housecat from Chicago will entertain colour-soaked fans. Last year saw a sold-out crowd of WE ARE ONE Colour Festival fans enjoying a fantastic day in the sun tossing coloured powder in the air and celebrating the beauty of life.
The very next day, 22 March, the WE ARE ONE Colour Festival makes its way up north to the beautiful Emmarentia Dam in Johannesburg, which sold out last year and saw fans share the laughter and fun in amongst eight tons of brightly coloured powder. This year Penthouse, Michael Lesar, Matt Suttner, Mix n Blend, Maoriginal will join the godfather of South African house music, Oskido, on stage to round off a top-notch local lineup. The day will be closed off by another amazing and colourful set by the legendary Felix Da Housecat.
What sets the WE ARE ONE Colour Festivals apart from all other colour festivals across the world, is that this year is themed for all fans to let their imaginations run wild. “Fairytale Carnival” was the winning theme chosen by the WE ARE ONE Facebook community, so get your white outfits ready with a fairytale twist to stand out from the rest as you are showered with coloured powder from all directions. Think about what your favourite fairytale character would wear to the Mardi Gras carnival with all the beaded necklaces, extravagant hats and outrageous outfits that go along with it.
The coloured powder used exclusively at the WE ARE ONE Colour Festivals is environmentally friendly and comes in an assortment of the brightest and funkiest colours to brighten up everyone and anything at the festivals. Imported from Germany, the official WE ARE ONE Colour Festival powder has gone through a stringent number of tests to ensure the safest and most enjoyable way of celebrating a day out with friends.
