WATCH Patty Monroe’s latest release – Whiskey Sours Video
‘Whiskey Sours’ debuted on Patty Monroe’s first ever project ‘Malatjie‘ it was the last song recorded for the album and created a huge debate between Patty and her Label ‘After Life’. “Is this song going to make the album or should we hold it in the vault?”
It was known that this was the direction that Patty wanted to take her music so the eventual consensus was that it would be the last song on ‘Malatjie’ and the first song on her next project. With the release of her Sophomore project now officially ready to be announced, it was time to release ‘Whiskey Sours’ as a her newest single.
To bring her ‘Whiskey Sours’ vision to life Patty collaborated with her childhood friend Lisa Hendricks who styled the video, while her sister Melisa Marshy brought the hair and makeup aesthetic to life. Patty co directed this mystical view into her world alongside visual extraordinaire ATP.
