Pearl Thusi haters will have a rough time during the next couple of months as the actress, TV presenter, MC, Voiceover Artist Model as well as co-owner of Ayana Africa Modelling Agency has just recently been announced as the new host of the Tropika Island of treasure season six. This year the show introduces a new format whereby people have a chance of winning makeovers, go to VIP parties, be seen on entertainment shows, live on a penthouse before jetting off to the island of adventure where they could win R1 million cash money.
The former Miss KZN and First Runner-up in Miss SA Teen 2003 was herself a contestant on the previous island of treasure season five on which the South African rapper DA L.E.S ended up walking up with the grand prize. The 24 year old Thusi has appeared on many advertising commercials and in numerous leading TV shows such as Soul City, Family Bonds’ and Number 1 Ladies Detective Agency to name a few. Not just a pretty face however, Pearl Thusi has the brain to match, and will even put you to shame. With a Start-up Venture Course from the WITS Business School already in the bag, She is currently completing a BA Communications Science through UNISA.
