PEEP: Kwesta Does Vosho In Vibrant New Music Video For Ziwa Murtu
Published 2 years ago by

We never thought that we needed any more videos primarily showing people dancing but dammit we do! DJ Vetkuk and Mahoota outdid themselves with their single Ziwa Murtu and featuring Kwesta, who is primarily a hip hop artist, on it was genius.

The legendary duo recently dropped the visuals for their hugely loved and vibrant single and we get to see everyone, including Kwesta do the vosho and dance their hearts out.

Ziwa Murtu was immediately declared a dance anthem by fans shortly after its release. And to be honest, it has been blazing dance floors since it dropped in June this year. The song is taken off Vetkuk and Mahoota’s 2018 dance album, Local Everywhere.

The music video is a festival of lively and animated dancers doing the most impressive dance moves. This is evident in the first frame. The music video features traditional dancers, kasi slay queens and amapantsula to name a few.

We see Kwesta looking like a regular hood guy who is hanging around where he lives. It looks like there is a party just about to go down and literally everything he narrates in his song is played out in the video. We see the infamous uncle he raps about, his granny and just the general vibe he is describing in the song.

What we loved about this music video is how accurately it reflects the song. We were not disappointed; ziwe murtu and we witnessed that.
