Fitness fanatic and new mom-to-be, Nkateko “Takkies” Maswanganye was lavished with love and well wishes from friends and family who threw her a surprise baby shower this past weekend.
Dressed in a beautifully flowing red gown, the dancer looked flawless and beamed as loved ones showered her with the unexpected gesture to welcome her baby girl with her newly we hubby, Chris Dinwiddy.
The celebration took place at the luxurious Palazzo Hotel in Fourways, Johannesburg and included a surprise face beat, pregnancy shoot as well as a stunner of an outfit for the choreographer. Musician, Leanne Dlamini orchestrated the day with all ladies in attendance sharing pics from the breathtaking celebrations.
“My heart is so happy. My friends and family surprised me with a beautiful baby shower today. Our baby girl received so much love today from her aunties. Thank you to each and every one of you who made this day possible,”

Chris went on to thank the ladies involved in planning his wife’s surprise baby shower; adding that the pair is now in the homestretch with only six weeks left till they meet their precious cargo.
