Priddy Ugly has been grinding it out in the tough South African rap game for a good 15 years, and now he’s gearing up to drop his last album. After more than a decade in the industry and making his mark with bangers like “Reminder to Myself” and “Ambition II,” Priddy Ugly’s decision to call his next album his final one has stirred up all kinds of feelings in the SA hip-hop community.
The man himself took to social media to announce that ‘DUST’ is coming in January next year. He showed love and appreciation to everyone who helped make this project happen. “[DUST] – The Conclusion. The last & final Priddy Ugly album. Thank you to all the artists & creatives involved, I couldn’t have done it without you. Pre-Order: Friday, 27 Oct. Release Date: 26 January 2024,” he dropped the bomb. Priddy Ugly even gave his fans a sneak peek into his journey by sharing pics of his young self and spitting wisdom about how those moments shaped his life.

“Frame 4: 📍 Meadowlands, Soweto, shortly after we had moved back to SA from Angola. We lived in my grandmother’s garage for several years. “Frame 5: With the car I would learn to drive in years later, it featured in many of my music videos along my journey. The Opel Kadette 200is [Karapao] – still plays a pivotal role in the lives of my family, from 1995 to present day. “Frame 6: A message from my grandmother Gladys Moitheki Moloi. Stay prayed up,” Priddy Ugly got real.
And there’s more – the ‘Welcome To My Kasi’ sensation just dropped the tracklist for his final masterpiece. The album is packed with 15 tracks, and it’s loaded with collabs featuring big names like Blxckie, Tyson Sybateli, Zulu Meca, Ginger Trill, and Thato Saul.
