Fally Ipupa (@fallyipupa01) and Professor (@professorkalawa) are the latest stars to sign up for MTV Africa All Stars KwaZulu-Natal with Snoop Lion, the urban music extravaganza staged by MTV Base and KwaZulu-Natal Province in Durban. MTV Africa All Stars KwaZulu-Natal is fast shaping up as the most exciting urban music event of the decade as Fally Ipupa and Professor join previously announced artists Snoop Lion (@SnoopLion), 2Face (@2faceidibia), Flavour (@2niteFlavour) and Zakes Bantwini (@ZakesBantwiniSA) on the bill for the concert. The event is being staged at the Moses Mabhida Stadium (@MMStadium), People’s Park, in Durban on 18 May.
Well known for his jaw-dropping beats and catchy lyrics, Durban native and South African kwaito guru Professor hit the headlines with his first solo album “University of Kalawa Jazmee”, thanks to hypnotic hits such as “Jezebel”, “Lento” and “Jimaphi” which filled club dance-floors and dominated the radio airwaves across South Africa. Recognition of his talents came at the 2011 MTN South African Music Awards, where he won Best Kwaito Album, Best Male & Record of the Year, and Professor has since been making more waves thanks to the success of his second album, “Orientation”.
