From director Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner) this sci-fi film is set during the late 21st century as the crew of the spaceship Prometheus is sent on a scientific expedition to follow the secrets hidden within a newly-discovered star map from ancient Aztec and Mesopotamian cultures. Their mission is to find the origins of mankind. However, when they discover and begin to explore the advanced civilization of an extraterrestrial race, they soon uncover evidence not of mankinds origin, but rather a plan that threatens humanity’s very existence.
