Raheem Devaughn will be performing in South Africa as part of UPE’s first annual soul music festival called UPESoulFest. The festival will be headlined by some of South African’s talented artists. In addition to the festival, UPE will host a music conference featuring Raheem Devaughn and some of South Africa’s notable artists; topics will range from music promotion, major label vs indie, song writing and producing. Raheem will also have a chance to visit the inner cities and talk to aspiring musicians and the possibilities of international collaborations which he has started with other South African artists like HHP and Speedy of Bongo Muffin. UPE CEO/Founder Douglas Moroke, says Raheem is looking forward to performing in South Africa. The show will take place on the 12th of April at Bassline. Tickets will be available at Com-puticket.
