REVIEW: DJ Milkshake – Savage
Published 5 years ago by

Spotted Celebrities fight night! (18) DJ Milkshake

Where in the world has DJ Milkshake been? The dude brought us dope tracks such as My Own featuring Anatii and Cassper Nyovest and Bank Roll featuring Kid X and Da Les and seemingly disappeared.

He is back with a new joint, Savage, with the North God Da LES, feature killer, Maggz and Family Tree first lady, Nadia Nakai. The track was produced by international hit maker, Mae N. Maejor and comes ahead of the weekend so it’s about to go down.

SPOTTED Pop Bottles Finale 2015 AKA with Maggz and Da L.E.S (1)

Da Les is nice on this, although the hook is questionable. He does that singing/rapping thing that he did on his Lifestyle track. He raps about his lifestyle and if you don’t know what his lifestyle is all about, listen to all his songs and you’ll get it. He flexes hard on this.

Maggz on the other hand kills it on features, all the damn time. I just don’t get why he’s solo projects don’t get that much traction. He’s fresh on this, I won’t lie! He switches up his flow, gets a little personal, “Still hurting my ex, I’ma leave with her friend. I’m petty”. And then flexes hard: “We’re on the N1 again, 180 speed on the Benz, deep in the trends. We’re on the BS again. The savage is deep in my glands, it seeps on demand”. Inserts fire emoji’s.

SPOTTED Major League Gardens (5)Nadia Nakai

Nadia Naka disappoints on this, for real. She switches it up but nje, it ain’t all that, it’s weak. I was really impressed when she dropped her EP and although it wasn’t dripping with bars, it was decent. On this she raps about how much she has been savage since she was a youngin.

The beat on this is nice. I just don’t think the hook is cool enough for the beat. It’s doesn’t have that thing man. Overall, the song is not all that for me but it’s a decent club song.

It will be released on all digital platforms if you’re into it. Look out for that.

Take a listen to it below and tell us if we are being savage or nah!
