Finally!!! Riky Rick has set a date for his latest album to drop and we are beside ourselves. Titled Stay Shining, the EP is set to drop in November, the 3rd to be specific.
Stay Shining follows Riky Rick’s industry defining 18 track debut album, Family Values. This was the album that gifted us some of the hottest joint which in a way helped introduce a new wave to the mainstream. Joints like Boss Zonke, Nafukwa and Amantobazane made Riky a household name and he hasn’t really been away from our reach since then.
Stay Shining is a modest 8 track project and we have already had a taste of what we can expect. Riky has already dropped Buy It Out and Stay Shinning and they have been warmly welcomed.
The features on this are also crazy and honestly, they deserve an article all on their own. We have to say that we are glad that Riky kept them to the new school cats who are slated to take over the new age of hip hop.
These are Nasty C, A-Reece, Youngsta CPT, Tshego, J Molley and Frank Casino. There is also a balance with the old school cats where he rakes in frequent collaborators Cassper Nyovest and Major League to name a few. We cannot wait to hear what the Davido song will sound like.
