Riky Rick has done the unthinkable and partnered with Sony Music! Yep, you read right! King Kotini took to his social media to announce the great news and also announce his new record label, Cotton Club Records. 

This comes after his departure from Mabala Noise Entertainment following his rant at the Metro FM awards earlier this year. The award winning rapper has been about young rappers paving their own way and not falling into the grasps of material gains and it seems his new label is going to be just about that. “The next chapter of my life is dedicated to giving other talented kids an opportunity to SHINE,” he wrote on Instagram. 

He continued to say that working hard alone is not going to get you to where you want to be without an influential person helping you out: “We always preach that hard work will take you places but honestly It would’ve been impossible to get where I am without key individuals helping me navigate my way through the game”. 

He ended off by showing gratitude to those who have been supporting him: “This venture will challenge us at times but with your love and support, a challenge is nothing but a path to greatness. I love you all. You make this journey worth it.
