The #SkipMonochrome Pop-Up Store

What went down at the #SkipMonochrome pop-up store

We recently attended the exclusive debut of South Africa’s first monochrome pop-up store hosted by Skip and three renowned local designers Mzukisi Mbane of Imprint ZA,  Shelley Mokoena of Prime Obsession and Lukhanyo Mdingi.

Each monochrome design is bold and different which caters for the average and trendy South African who is not afraid to rock a black and white ensemble. Held in Sandton, the fruitful event was a success which guided fashion lovers with what to expect during the duration of the pop-up. Fashion and beauty influencer Melody Molale was MC and delivered a remarkable job. The pop-up shop is available in Johannesburg, Sandton between 10-24 July and Canal Walk, Cape Town 7-21 August.

CAV: Boity’s Fashion Face-Off

Fashion Face-off: It’s not a shame to wear the same thing twice, if Boity can do it, so can you!

Remember back in the day when it felt like wearing the same outfit twice was an embarrassment and could possibly be the worst thing you could do? Well to some celebs it becomes a taboo thing to repeat the same clothes, but not Boity Thulo!

We know her from gracing the red carpet with her ever gracious curvy bod or burning the stubborn calories when hitting the gym. Whether it’s the first, second or third time around, Boity knows how to make a fashion statement.

The Potchefstroom-born entertainer is seen wearing a designer leather jacket multiple times, who cares? She’s undoubtedly one of SA’s most talked about celebrities and not only is she a great performer, she’s also dubbed as a fashionista to look out for. Have a look at how Boity switched this urban punk look…

With this look, Boity switched it up a bit and opted for this little red number to balance the edginess…

And in other news, Boity recently took her fans behind the scenes of her new fashion line in collaboration with SissyBoy…
