Burnout is a real thing guys and the reality is, many are suffering from this condition on a daily basis. More than often, the condition can leave sufferers feeling not only mentally and emotionally stressed out out but physically drained as well. So to give you a little hope, we’ve prepared a couple of tips you can use to help prevent yourself from reaching that burnout point or managing it once you have already.

Firstly, before getting into it, burnout is described as a condition of physical, mental as well as emotional fatigue caused by constantly feeling stressed for long periods of time. When experiencing burnout, sufferers may tend to feel overwhelmed, emotionally unstable and unable to meet deadlines. As the stress persists, one can end up losing motivation for doing that task they were so excited to be doing in the first place. So even if you love what you do, it can still happen to you.

The signs that you may be experiencing burnout include, feeling like a failure, self doubt, feeling alone, lack of motivation, procrastinating, coming to work late consistently, frustration and more.

However, it’s not all doom and gloom because there are many ways to help prevent burnout and they include:

  2. Analyse work performance
  3. Give back
  4. Exercise
  5. Meditate
