Sho Madjozi has been a busy bee as a late. From bagging herself collaborative Nike deal alongside South African based design and consulting agency, Melanin Boys Club. Who has created some interesting looks which are inspired by sportswear culture from around the world.
Furthering her international links and audiences Sho Madjozi has also featured on the remix of UK based grime artist Stormzy. Sho Madjozi features on the remix on Stomzy’s hit single ‘Own it’ featuring international pop star Ed Sheeran and African giant Burna Boy, taken off his third studio album, ‘Heavy Is The Head‘.

Stormzy – Own it (feat. Burna Boy & Sho Madjozi)(Remix)
You gotta love how Sho Madjozi is flying the South African Flag high up for the whole world to see and making her people proud. And Yes, like any other song that Sho Madjozi track she is on you should expect to hear her dropping her bars in her native tongue Xitshonga. She added another level of dimensionality to the already dope track and made it just that much better. Not that Ed Sheeran did not provide the necessary ingredients for a dope track, but now the track has an appeal to the South African market even that much more because of Madjozi’s verse. We commend Stormzy for have Sho Madjozi do her thing on the remix.
We would love to see Sho Madjozi on more features such as this. They are very refreshing and make us feel one with the rest of the global music scape.
