Since the beginning of this year or so, Mzansi internet users have become stricken with the images of this super funny guy holding a board with a message in what seems to be a club or groove.. While the message written on his board might not always be funny, the fact that he’s wearing what seems to be a black gown, red spectacles and has this serious look on his face adds that element of funny to his posts.

‘Ignatius Memes’ is portrayed by Lehlohonolo Ignatius Letswalo. According to his bio on IG, he works as an entertainer and also does comedy. There’s not really much known about him as yet but one thing’s certain, he’s definitely funny!
Imagine pulling up in a club this December then bumping into this dude holding a white paper with a funny message… talk about fun at groove.
Every meme Ignatius does mirrors a particular cultural context and are generally based on some knowledge or opinion about the crazy South Ah.
That being said, it is safe to say this guy is the best medicine for South Africa!
