Supporters of Selimathunzi presenter Siphesihle Vazi will be thrilled to know that Vazi will make a cameo appearance on Muvhango on Thursday 29 March 2018. Vazi makes his acting debut as the MC at James Motsamai’s wedding. Speaking to Drum magazine, Vazi said that acting has always been a part of his plans. He further explained that he wants to have all the skills needed before venturing into the craft.
“I’ve always had the plan to go into acting, but I wanted to study it first. And I’ve been very privileged because when I approached Duma kaNdlovu he agreed to have me at the Duma Ndlovu Actors’ Academy (DNA Academy). The DNA Academy aims to bridge the gap between school and the industry for Drama and Performance Arts graduates. “I haven’t been actively auditioning for roles just yet- I want to learn as much as I can” said the Duku Duku presenter. Speaking about his experience on set Vazi said that he had lots of fun and the cast was very warm & welcoming.
On Muvhango Vazi plays himself as the MC at James Motsamai’s wedding and “because of that, I decided to style myself in a suit that viewers will recognize because I was me”
