Sjava, UDUMAKAHLE & Anzo’s new cinematic music video for their collaborative ‘Amakhehla’ song (featuring Vernotile) dropped last week Friday and after watching it in full, this visual narration is an impressive display of ancestral veneration directed by Luthando Sigubudu.
For those of your that are curious, the word “Amakhehla” is said to mean “elders” but also meaning the ancestors that are believed to watch over our lives and this new music video does well to showcase that throughout it showcase as get to see scenes that display the vital roles that our elders play in out lives which is all weaved into who we are, as cycle that is generational in intent & individual reinforcement.
