One of Mzansi’s most talked about socialite, Queen Skolopad, real name Nonhlanhla Qwabe, has had her year end with a bang! The singer and dancer known for her body-baring antics has just been spoiled with a new German machine from her mom.
Taking to social media – the professional nurse, who moonlights as an entertainer – shared her excitement with fans after early Christmas spoils from mommy dearest in the form of a brand new SUV; the Volkswagen Tiguan.
Clad in a cheeky yellow romper and gold heels, the infamous wors-wearer is seen bending over and hugging her new ride that was beautifully tied in a red bow tie. “Only my mom can keep me smiling this December. #ChristmasGift,” she captions one of the pics.
While many were confused and not sure if the entertainer had bought herself or her mother the car, she later clarified that her mom was actually the one who gifted her with the ride.
According to Tshisa Live, Skolopad’s mother bought her the new car “on condition that she leaves the celebrity life”.
“I have an old car but my mother saw that it was always breaking down and decided to buy me a new one. She said it’s not for Skolopad and doesn’t want me to be Skolopad anymore,”
she says to the publication.
