The SkyRoomLive Urban Sessions returns for this year’s final gathering. Some of South Africa’s hottest artists will come together in one night for an epic production. Wrapping up the Urban Sessions will see SA’s prince of pop, multiple SAMA winner and industry heavyweight, Danny K, perform old time favourites and tracks from his 5th studio album, GOODLOOK. The beautiful Nothende will take to the stage with releases from her debut album, LOVELIGHT, just recently released. The super talented 27 year old has managed to make her mark as one of South Africa’s most promising artists yet, in just a matter of years.
Adding an international flavour to the lineup, US Hip Hop artist Damani Nkosi is a voice that rings with distinction and supreme clarity, valiantly shattering stereotypes with each metaphor – this international will be a highlight for the Hip Hop fans in the crowd. Last but not least, SA’s songbird Simphiwe Dana will take the audience on a musical journey with her unique combination of Jazz, Afro-soul, RAP and Traditional music.
