The Viacom Upfront event took place on Tuesday 17 September at The Venue, Greenpark, Sandton. The affair was a preview of the latest product innovations and media solutions from Viacom channels MTV, MTV Base, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, BET and Vh1 Classic. Entertainment on the night was provided by Loyiso Gola, Donald, LCNVL and AKA and Da LES. Guests on the night included Simphiwe Dana and Nhlanhla Nciza of Mafikizolo (Mafikizolo and LCNVL are nominated in the Best African Act category at this years MTV EMA’s happening on November 10th)
