June 16 is an iconic day in South Africa as we celebrate the brave youth that fought for their rights in Soweto back in 1976 which is why Vertex Events in association with Channel O and VUZU AMP decided to throw a young Youth Day Festival in Celebration of what the youth of 1976 fought for. The event took place at the Zone 6 Venue in Soweto, tickets for the show were sold out and the performances included Cassper Nyovest, Khuli Chana, K.O, Kabelo, Pro, Riky Rick and Uhuru while the deejays were Milkshake, Dimplez, Franky, Ms Cosmo, Ofentse ZA, Vigi, Major League, Lemii Loco, Mr X, Bhuts Tunz as well as Nkanyezi.
