Yes, the first of May was Workers’ Day, but for the many Joburgers who made their way to Zone 6 in Soweto, this day marked the arrival of the much-awaited Authentic Sunday SUPERMEGA show with AKA – an epic event where everyone could de-stress and “work work work work work work” those bodies through song and dance!
Killer tunes, blazing performances and electric vibes were the order of the day. DJ’s on the decks included Lemmi Loco, Dimpelz, Mr X, Double D and Subrocc. AKA lived up to expectations and levelled up his killer performances with a full band and featured artists like Yanga, Maggz, Big Star, Ma-E and the North God Da Les. Special guest performer Kwesta also pulled through, with guns blazing!
