Gauteng’s music scene is set ablaze as The Big Hash released his highly anticipated album titled ‘Heartbreak Hotel’. Fans, music enthusiasts and loyal followers expressed their anticipation across various social platforms. It only makes sense for the anticipation that was expressed on social media Hash worked on this album for five full years.
The album is a fusion of R&B and Hip-Hop, which showcases The Big Hash’s talent and creativity across both genres of music. Heartbreak Hotel was official released on March 15, 2024, its almost a month following the release of the album which has been nothing but a captivating journey for Hash’s fans. There are four tracks that form part of Heartbreak Hotel have been released prior to the album’s release – “Another Day,” “Eight Summers,” “Blue Bucks” and “That’s Wassup”, these showcase The Big Hash’s ability to navigate different genres effortlessly.
‘Heartbreak Hotel’ speaks about the complexities of heartbreak and separation, as The Big Hash lays bare his emotions and experiences. He addresses the pain of betrayal and the aftermath of a failed relationship, channeling his emotions into every verse and melody.
The 16-track album includes features such as Tyson Sybateli, Blxckie, Flow Jones Jr., Thato Saul and other multi-talented artists.
