It’s been a minute since we last gave you the end of week entertainment news recap but we’re back to feed your celeb news fix. So in case you’ve been sleeping, here’s what’s been happening and trending in celebville this week.
Reason doesn’t seem to be having a great week. First he addressed the haters and rumours surrounding him and his bae, LootLove. And just when he tried to do good for his fans, hackers go and mess it up for him.
On Wednesday, which was also International Women’s Day, the rapper decided to honour women and give fans an exclusive free listen of his album titled Girls. The album, which Reason says is to celebrate the women who contributed to its body of work, was meant to be streamed live from the afternoon until midnight.
Its #InternationalWomensDay.
So here’s an exclusive listening of “GIRL” to the fans! #Girls streaming Link in bio. Live till midnight! 😉💖 pic.twitter.com/2WNYV3TmA8

Sadly, five hours into it, hackers had already pirated the album and Reason had to take it down. He took to social media to share his anger and disappointment.

In other news rapper Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye made his first stage appearance at Topaz Lounge in Bloemfontein this past weekend after being released on parole two months ago.
The Ndikhokhele Bawo rapper apparently performed to a crowd that was happy to see him at the Free State lifestyle lounge.
Despite the reported bad sound quality at the venue, Jub Jub is said to have performed his old-time hits, Good Times, Ndikhokhele Bawo and his latest song, Ke Kopa Tshwarelo, which he released early this year. At the end of his performance, he is said to have then thanked everyone who had supported him while in prison.
Here are snippets of his performances from the night:
We’re glad Jubby is integrating well back into society.
And finally, while many were upset about Nasty C’s Song of the Year win at last week’s Metro FM Music Awards, Dr. Malinga decided to do something about it. Lingas promised to award himself and he’s pulled through on his promises.
Earlier this week, Dr Malinga bought himself a trophy and awarded his damn self with a Song of the Year award for his hit tune, Akulaleki guys.
If this isn’t a bauss move, we don’t know what is.
