Season six of Mzansi Magic’s hit show OPW (Our Perfect Wedding) is coming to an end and as as expected, a new host will take over the reins. According to various media reports, award-winning actress, Jessica Nkosi is joining season seven of the reality show and taking over from the current host, Thembisa Mdoda.
Earlier this year, Thembisa took time out from the show and Jessica, along with Thembisa’s sister, Anele Mdoda filled in for the stylish presenter. It appears that audiences fell so in love with the Isibaya star that she came back to run the show.
The OPW presenter role has been known to come with criticism and social media backlash over the host’s presenting skills or on-screen presence. Thembisa, however, has received a lot of love from the masses with many complimenting her wardrobe choices, involvement and empathy towards the marrying couples.
Every season, the show is known to change its presenters. Previous seasons have been hosted by Thuli Thabethe, Brenda Ngxoli, Phumeza Mdabe, Ayanda Mpama and Tumi Morake who has hosted two back-to-back seasons.

The loved actress who plays the role of Dintle in the soapie, hid the news so well and looks ready to pop anytime. Pasi, as she’s affectionately known, was thrown a lavish baby shower by her friends over the weekend and took to her Instagram to thank everyone for their sensitivity and privacy to the matter.
