TGIF and in our Friday celebrity news wrap-up today, we look at headlines the likes of AKA, Bonang and Somizi made this week! So, let’s get straight into it!
Celebrity Twitter rants are becoming a thing lately; and recently, AKA has kinda been leading the pack in this department! The rapper, who was scheduled to perform at the 2016 Hipnotik Music Festival taking place in Swaziland this weekend, has been dropped from the star-studded artist line up, after he complained about the festival’s flyer! This seemed to anger the organisers, who then decided to drop Super Mega from its festival line up and replaced him with Nigerian artist, Burna Boy!
The saga began after AKA posted this tweet, which the organisers didn’t take kindly to:
They better fetch my logo and change that flyer before I fuck around and not show up on the day. https://t.co/jAREXWwhE6

And this was the organiser’s response to AKA:
The only “Alpha” or “Super Mega” I acknowledge is God. I will not let anyone disrespect me, my team or brands

While many called for AKA to take several seats, his stans stood by him and agreed that AKA’s logo and artwork were indeed poorly designed; while other artist logos were done right! The organisers then released a statement expressing their disapproval of AKA’s behaviour and “disrespectful tweets”; before citing that he had been dropped from the festival line up due to him “attempting to breach the festival contract”! Here is the logo in question, and artwork of two other South African artists performing at the festival!

Then, remember when Bafana Bafana midfielder, Bongani Zungu showed us his anaconda in that leaked nude video this week? Well, Somizi – not being one to ever be upstaged – “released” his own version of Bongani’s shower shenanigans; and it’s hilarious!!!
In the video, Somizi, imitates Bongani’s video moves, all the way down to his pelvic wiggles and lip-licking stunts! We love Somizi for always keeping us entertained! Here’s the video:
And in other controversial news, Bonang and AKA have set tongues wagging again! In a recent social media post, Bonang took us into hers and AKA’s intimate world when she posted a photo of looking up at the camera, while AKA kisses her cheek!
