We let this feature rest for a while but now we are back with full effect. Because of the large number of music submissions we get from the multitude of talented individuals but we can only profile a few. This feature allows us too give as much exposure as we can to this raw talent. With that said, take a look at who made our list for this week.
Ghettolista
Is Kwaito music dying? Hell no! Not when guys like GhettoLista are still around and keeping the spirit of the genre alive. Sonny Mabaso better known as Ghettolista was born and bred in Tembisa. His beginnings were humble and that motivated him to master his craft for entertainment at a tender age of 11 years old.
Manga Manga Buznis is dedicated to Brown Dash who was his mentor as well as his inspiration. The beat was produced by Hit After Hit and it has a major street sound. This song is badass, yho! Plus the voice adds to that street hustler persona of his. The track is about Ghettolista saying NO to manga manga buznis. In the track he is talking about his street hustle while he is persuing his music career and how they were telling him lies and taking him for a ride.

King Flo
King Flo is a Soweto born rapper, producer and songwriter who is making some notable waves in the game with his single Live From Elokshin ft Sthoxo and Emdee. This single comes off his upcoming EP titled Game Changers:Road To The Album to be released later this year.
This track has already play listed on over 20 radio stations nationwide by the likes of Gagasi FM, Mosupatsela FM, Emalahleni FM, Alex FM, Nqkubela Community Radio, TUT FM, Soshanguve FM and VOW FM just to mention a few. It depicts a ghetto story in 3 dimensions; A drug dealer with a conscious perspective into life, the heartless criminal who does heists and the everyday walking the streets guy who loves parties and girls. I find the sound refreshing because it reflects the true sound of Kwaito.
