The 4-minute long record truly finds Touchline letting some things off his chest as expected as he uses the moment to reflect on singular and industry-related experiences such as materialism and his perceived position within Hip-Hop but these are just two examples out of the many persona & society subject matters that ‘Say It To Yourself’ delves into.
In its purest form, the song is all about affirmations and celebrating yourself for all the hard work you’ve put in to get yourself to get here because if you don’t do it for yourself first then who will? Touchline also uses the moment to recall those he has engaged with within his career who have played their part in narrating his story.
